Purppura, öljy

I was born in Moscow, Russia and moved to Finland 1992. Ever since I was a child I've been drawing and painting. My first art teacher was my stepfather. He was a wellknown artist in Moscow, frequently painting portraits and wall paintings to order. Large wall paintings were painted to schools, day nurseries and cultural buildings. I do very well recall an occasion, when I was, together with my stepfaher, painting a vaste portait of Lenin on a wall of a Cultural Center. I was born and raised surrounded by art and artists. In my works I use various techniques and materials.

Prizes
2007 Ladno-prize of Suomi-Venäjä-seura for praiseworthy acting as an agent of Russian art and culture.
